The amount you can earn may be affected by several factors, including location, schedule, and tip income. Typically, Great Clips® franchisees offer opportunities for stylists to affect their income through bonuses or incentives. Compensation packages may include:
Base Pay: Stylists earn a competitive hourly wage, which may vary by location. This hourly structure ensures a stable income even during quieter periods.
Tips: A significant portion of stylists’ income is made up of tips received from customers for their service. Since Great Clips® salons have a walk-in model of service, stylists have the potential to receive tips with every service provided. Tips may vary but often range from 15% to 25% of the service cost and can really add up.
Bonuses and Incentives: In addition to base pay and tips, many Great Clips® franchises offer performance-based incentives and bonuses.
